PLANTING INSTRUCTIONS
1. SOAK THE PAPER

Soak your seed paper in water for 1-3 days.
2. TEAR & PLANT
Tear the paper into small pieces and plant under a thin layer of loose soil in full sun or part shade. We recommend starting your plants in a pot indoors (under a bright lamp or in a sunny window) and then transplanting them outside once the seedlings are well-established.
3. WATER & LIGHT

Keep the soil moist (but not overly wet), especially during the first 4 to 6 weeks until the seedlings are well established. To aid in germination, create a mini-greenhouse by covering the pot with a perforated clear plastic "tent". Bonus points for reusing single-use plastics for this step!

3. WATCH THEM GROW!
Seedlings may emerge after 1 day-2 weeks. If you have grown your seed paper inside, you can gently transplant them outside when the roots are well-established. Water well. It helps to set the potted seedlings outside for a few days to allow them to acclimate before transplanting them. Enjoy your wildflowers or herbs!

WHEN TO PLANT
Plant the paper outdoors in early spring or late fall. Plant anytime indoors with good sunlight, then transplant to a more permanent location in the early spring.
STORAGE INSTRUCTIONS
If you do not intend to plant your seed card right away, it is best to store it in a cool, dry, and fairly dark place until you are ready to plant. Seeds like to hibernate too, and your seeds will stay viable for 2-6 years!
